When I ran the scan, SlimComputer found 2 items under "Startup Items" called "Igfxtray" and "Persistence". When I tried to remove them I got a message "Not all optimizations were applied" and the items were NOT removed. Why not?

(This was on a Dell Studio 1737 64 bit Vista laptop.)

Hello bdcerutti! I believe that SlimComputer ignores those two particular process (among others) because disabling them would affect the functionality of your computer to a degree. SlimComputer will still display ALL the processes running on your computer so you can verify the legitimacy of those processes.

"Igfxtray" and "Persistence" are processes related to Intel CPU's and Graphics chipsets.

However, I'm using SlimComputer on my end and am having no issue removing these processes when I want.

I'll forward a message to our support team and we'll get back with you ASAP.

    Thanks for using SlimComputer!
