    Did not restore right?!

First time using this program.. it's great and restored all my programs but I can't find my desktop files. It seems they did not restore.

Did you do a System Reset or a System Refresh?

I see. Unfortunately, your files are not in the recimg snapshot. The recimg snapshot only includes Windows system files and programs. This is by Microsoft's design. It is meant to be a way to make small backups of Windows + Programs without tampering with user files. Normally, restoring one of these types of backups on top of your existing system will not damage or remove user files - it will only alter system and program files.
