    Opera Browser not recognized

I have three browsers on my Windows 7 system, IE, Chrome and Opera (default). However, when I select Browsers in Slimcleaner, only IE and Chrome show as active, not Opera. When I select Software, Opera shows up in the list of installed programs; it just doesn't show up when I select browsers. Any suggestions?

We currently do no support the latest version of Opera in the Browser tool although it is still supported in the cleaner. Opera is now running on a different engine than SlimCleaner is designed to handle. We're still researching how we will be supporting Opera from now on.

Thanks for the answer! I had the same issue with Opera not showing as active in the browser section. I am glad it doesn't affect cleaning, etc.

Question Downloaded opera, now my computer ocassionally shuts down. Maybe coincidence

I don't know that its opera but it started then. I love it though, it plays better youtube videos than my other 2 googlechrome and firefox. I ran the cleaner but maybe I have to check all the boxes to scan everything? I don't know about Advanced though, nothing is checked there. Thanks very much for your advice or help. John
