12/07/2011 You should not keep Freemake Improver (Freemake Improver) - Freemake because The Freemake Improver Service slows down System-Startup. Win7x64 starts from Samsung 830-SSD within 20 seconds when Service is disabled, when Service enabled it needs approx. 70 seconds

11/25/2016 You should not keep Freemake Improver (Freemake Improver) - Freemake because Aside from the controversy. Freemake still remains at the top spot for freeware: Downloader or Converter. * Now, Freemake has disabled the MP3 converter and has instituted branding at the beginning and end when burning a video to DVD. These features were free for about five years. However, now Freemake seeks $9.99 for a one year subscription and $19.99 lifetime to enable all of the features. Included is the removal of black bars on video. Ellora ***ets is a very fine corporation but they must have decided to hand part of the package to others to obtain funds, while inserting unwanted irritants; I..E > Ads considered to be malware (50%), unknown developers installing Byte Fence, etc. "Do Not" install Byte Fence. We hope this information has been beneficial to some.

11/25/2016 You should not keep Freemake Improver (Freemake Improver) - Freemake because It is a hindrance upon the performance of one’s system. Freemake improver continually enters critical errors in the Windows reliability log, reducing performance. Freemake improver inhibits slow start and possible slow browsing. We have had Freemake since its inception as this freeware is excellent in being provided by Ellora ***ets. As time continued, Freemake slyly embedded toolbars, chromium browser, yahoo toolbar, many ads and some considered to be 50% upon installation. To overcome this, one must ‘customize’ the installation of Freemake and deny access to all unwanted services, including user agreement. However, the Freemake improver still installs irrespective of the aforesaid. To disable or stop this service (Freemake Improver), just go to services and ‘stop’ or ‘disable’. Once this step is activated, there shall be no more critical events in the Windows reliability sector as ‘critical’. Aside from the contro
